XviD Video Plays with Blue / Green Lines & Several Instances at Once...

I recently helped install Vista (32-bit) onto my sisters Dell Dimension 3100, clean install from XP.
She soon came to find video playback of XviD movies had Green sometimes Blue lines running vertically and/or horizontally across the video depending upon the file.
Also in some cases several instances of the same video could be seen in the background.
After searching high and low... installing... uninstalling... updating... changing drivers and codecs if found the solution to be this...
The device drivers were fine. The Media Player was fine.

She was using the "K-Lite Codec Pack", (though we had tried other codec packs too...)
The problem was in the XviD codec within the pack.

Uninstall what ever XviD codec you are using and install "Koepi's XviD codec (for Vista 32-bit)"
This should fix the problem you will probably need to reinstall the other codecs again now.
We just re-installed the K-Lite Codec Pack and this time chose not to install XviD from the tick list.
Voila, all videos are now working fine!

Obviously, this won't solve everyones problem but I do understand that the problem lies in the fact the original drivers we had to install are possibly based on the 64 bit version of Vista so therefore if you have a similar problem on Vista 64 bit you may be running the 32 bit version of the codec and should search for a 64 bit version...

Lost S04E07 - Jin's Tombstone

Just watched Lost Season 4 Episode 7...
Ath the end of the episode Jin's tombstone is shown!
On the tombstone are three dates...
20th March 1980 - Sun's Birthdate...
27th November 1974 - Jin's Date of Birth...
22nd September 2004 - Jin's Date of Death...
More importantly and completely confusing.... His date of death was the same date that Oceanic 815 Crashed!!!
When are the answers coming...
